The position

We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented Relocation Coach to join our team on a flexible/part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is knowledgeable about the area and thrives on delivering excellent customer service, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in creating a seamless experience for newcomers. You will support the client journey from pre-arrival planning through to settling into their new home and community.

Six-month contract with potential for extension.
Flexible hours based on assignment workloads.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide clients through the relocation process, from pre-arrival planning to local settlement.

  • Provide area and city orientation tours, showcasing key neighbourhoods, schools, amenities, and community highlights.

  • Assist clients with home finding support, including coordinating viewings and liaising with landlords, property managers, and real estate agents.

  • Support settling-in tasks such as setting up utilities, healthcare, and community connections.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal team members to ensure a smooth, high-quality client experience.

  • Track client progress, anticipate needs, and proactively resolve any issues that arise.

  • Represent CityMatch professionally in all client and partner interactions.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • $20-$24 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Hybrid (90% Remote / 10% In person).

The ideal candidate

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of London and/or St. Thomas communities, amenities, and services is a key asset.

  • Exceptional customer service and client management skills; comfortable working with professionals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a warm, approachable demeanour.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, based on client schedules.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Real estate, property management, or home rental experience considered ideal.

  • Tourism, hospitality, or customer experience roles that involved showcasing a region or community.

  • Community engagement, settlement services, or event coordination experience.

  • Familiarity with working in small businesses or entrepreneurial environments.
